Effective Saturday, March 14, OSU will move to a higher level of response that continues the essential operations of the university, but seeks to reduce the frequency of interactions among students, faculty, staff and visitors throughout all university campuses, centers, facilities and operations. Our focus is on continued university operations and social distancing.
Make sure you have an active data connection before following these steps.
|1. Choose Settings.|
|2. Choose Mail, Contacts, Calendars.|
|3. Choose Add Account...|
|4. Choose Other from the list of account types.|
|5. Enter your name, ENGR address, and ENGR password. Use "ENGR" or similar as description.|
|6. Choose Save.|
|7. Ensure that IMAP is selected as the acount type (it should be by default).|
|8. For both the incoming and outgoing mail servers, set Host Name to mail.engr.oregonstate.edu and enter your ENGR username and password.|
|9. Click Save.|
You should now be able to exit Settings, launch the Mail application and read your ENGR email.
