There are currently two methods we recommend to connect to your campus COE PC from a remote (off-campus) location.

  1. The preferred method is to use the engineering “Gateway”. It is the most secure method and should give the best performance, but it requires a mobile device that is pre-registered with DUO.
  2. The second is to use the campus VPN which doesn’t currently perform as well as the Gateway method.

Instructions are provided for Remote Desktop Manager and Remmina and are tested on Ubuntu. Similar steps may work on other Linux distros or RDP clients, but are not tested.
