At the start of each term, we receive many requests for updates to class software, hardware, and systems. While some are quick to handle, others need more time and planning. To ensure smooth support, please follow these guidelines and timelines:

New software | 2nd week of the previous term |
Backend services (e.g. VM’s, server setup) | 2nd week of the previous term |
Specialized hardware setups | 1 term in advance |
University lab resources | 1 term in advance |
Events (e.g. conferences, hackathons) | 1 term in advance |
Submit requests either via email to coe.support@oregonstate.edu or fill out the Specialized Equipment or Software Setup form in ServiceNow.
